Unless you drive for a living, or spend most of your time in your car, then you really don’t have to spend a lot of money. At last count, there are about 8 different types of mounts including Air Vent, Cigarette Lighter, Gooseneck Windshield and Weighted Friction Dashboard mounts. The type of car you drive, be it a sports car, mini-van or truck can be a deciding factor on what sort of car mount will fit your needs.

A few states, California being one of them, have laws in place that prohibit the use of anything that needs to be adhered to the inside of the windshield. In the end, what we are trying to accomplish is the ability to make a call, take a call and end a call – all without having to grab your phone, or taking your eyes off the road.
